Product Safety and Road Approval

Minibike Friends aims to present technical product information, safety instructions and possible approval restrictions clearly and transparently.

Current website status: Minibike Friends is currently a product-preview and non-binding dealer Early Access platform. Online purchases and payments are not available. Submitting an enquiry or survey does not place an order or create a purchase contract. Provisions concerning purchases apply only where a purchase contract is actually concluded.

Seller

The designated seller of goods presented through Minibike Friends is EXPAQ GmbH, Schwabstr. 2, 71686 Remseck, Germany.

Product-specific safety information

Required manufacturer, identification, safety and warning information is provided with the relevant product where applicable. The manufacturer’s instructions for installation and use supplied with the product must also be observed.

Vehicle compatibility

Compatibility information refers only to the vehicle models, model years, variants and technical requirements expressly stated. Before installation or use, check that the product is suitable for the particular vehicle and configuration.

Road approval

Tuning, performance and vehicle parts may be subject to requirements concerning registration, a German general operating permit (ABE), type approval, E-marking or other approvals. Where a product has a relevant approval, this is stated in its product information.

A description such as “motorsport”, “racing” or “show use” is not evidence of road approval. A part marked as not approved for public-road use, or lacking a required approval, must not be used on public roads unless all applicable legal requirements have been met. Requirements depend on the country and the specific vehicle installation.

Installation

Safety-critical or technically complex components should be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and, where required, by qualified personnel. Statutory inspection, approval and registration duties remain unaffected.
